Welcome to HOPE

The 2 photos and the graphic on this Home Page to a degree sum up what the HOPE orphanage is all about. As little birds are dependent on their mother for provision, the countless millions of orphans and widows in the world are often totally dependent on others for their provision. James 1:27 is the theme verse for HOPE, and shows how it is the heart of the Father to use His people as His instruments to meet the needs of the orphan and widow. “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” We need to keep ourselves “unstained” so we can have more of God’s love in our hearts, a love that will reach out to the helpless with truth and healing.

The photo above is an example of the ministry that is taking place in HOPE, an orphanage located near the southeastern coast of India. The 2 girls are part of the orphanage, Sindhu (left) and Anusha, helping a widow onto the compound before a meal was given for neighborhood widows. Since that photo was taken in June 2006, HOPE has begun feeding widows on a daily basis, and only a year later is now feeding almost 30 widows twice a day. The other photo was taken when some HOPE children were taken to visit a friend. Spandhana (then 10) spelled out what was dearest to her heart, and what is unique about  HOPE.It is not simply run as an orphanage, but as a family. It may seem odd that 32 children (as of June 2007) from broken backgrounds could feel that they are loved and part of a family, but that’s a sure sign of the Lord’s grace upon the home.

WARNING: If you have a fast lane or drive-thru mentality and don’t want much detail, then this site may not be for you. There is lots of information within these pages for those who are truly interested in getting connected with an orphanage that’s run with integrity and making a difference in people’s lives. You won’t just get generic info about how many children and widows there are, and that “they are doing well.” Click onto Children’s Profiles and Widow’s Profiles, and you’ll get photos, backgrounds and details about each one of them. Go to Ministries to learn about the different ministries to the children, widows and neighbors. Go to the Building Fund link and see if the Lord would want you to be a part of expanding this work and enabling HOPE to touch more lives for His glory. HOPE Testimonies will help you to get better acquainted with all the HOPE family and learn what Jesus is doing in their hearts. The Photos link will take you to our photo website where we have hundreds of photos in different albums, each photo with a caption (for those of you who are really interested in learning more details about HOPE, this photo website will be very beneficial to you). The Father’s Heart is a series of articles about His Heart for the orphans, widows, afflicted, etc., based on the Scriptures. The Archives makes our monthly newsletters available online.

The HOPE family\orphanage is not a ministry of Right Hand Ministries, but is just one of the ministries that RHM is assisting to fulfill their God-given calls. RHM is an IRS recognized non-profit organization and 100% of what you designate for HOPE goes to HOPE for ministry. Hope you enjoy the site; feel free to Contact Us with any questions or feedback.

“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.”
