RHM NEEDS & OPPORTUNITIES

CARING FOR MANY MORE WIDOWS. Millions of widows around the world are in need. Without nursing facilities or government assistance, who's going to help them if their children or grandchildren are not able or willing? There are needy widows/widowers in most poor churches in villages and towns of poor nations around the world. There's many more we can help if we have the funds.
SANGEETHA RAO (on right in baptism photo) is a Gospel Band pastor and spiritual leader in charge of 5 churches in the HOPE area. He needs to visit these churches regularly, but has diabetes, so it's difficult for him to get around. His son helps him in the ministry and they both travel by bicycle. In need of a motorcycle for travel ($800-1000).
PUTHRA & HIS FATHER (2nd from right & left): Gospel Band pastors in about 5 India villages. RHM supports both of these men on a regular basis. They have been faithful servants of the Lord for many years, not seeking any earthly rewards. For many years they have not had a house to live in, but live in their small church. Both are married, Puthra having 2 small children. House: $3-5,000 (cannot build a simple thatched home as with the widows because of the many snakes in their area)

JEBARAJ is director of a student ministry in Chennai, perhaps the 4th largest city in India with about 7 million people. Jebaraj has a vision to reach many young people (and others) through the use of multimedia technology. His present salary provides for his family, but doesn't enable him to reach this vision. He needs more monthly support to be able to train, and to purchase the equipment needed to do the task.
HOPE ORPHANAGE: Many opportunities & needs with the children and widows. Search the site for more info. Money for the different projects is needed and greatly appreciated, but Monthly support is also very much needed.
JOSEPH is a pastor with the Gospel Band (near HOPE) who is building an approx. 750 sq. ft. church in his village. He's a simple man serving a poor congregation. As with most of the people we assist, Bro. Joseph has no way to go beyond the typical poverty that most village pastors face unless God touches the hearts of His children who are able to help. He needs about $2,000 to finish construction of the church building.
VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, run by the Gospel Band (a group of churches in India). Offers several technical courses to help train poor believers, but most can't pay the small fees. We can sponsor a student for $35-100, depending on the length of the course. Operating expenses are also difficult to meet, as the government requires them to pay each teacher 5,000 rupees a month (about $110-120). This is a good work!
